Sam Jenkins teaches workshops and develops materials for Science Approach. Sam spent his academic life in Australia and the United States studying the genetics and biochemistry of the vascular system. He holds an M.Sc. from the Hanson Centre, Australia, and served as a research assistant at the University of Arizona. At the University of Adelaide, Sam taught genetics and biochemistry to undergraduate students. In the United States, he has worked with members of the Conceptual Astronomy and Physics Educational Research team and spent a year as a marine science Instructor at the Catalina Island Marine Institute in California. Sam is currently serving as an instructor and mentor for CIPE's Ocean Explorers project and is teaching an online GIS course for the VISIONES project. |
